Saudi Arabia has given Football player Ronaldo a grand welcome
Kathmandu: Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasser Football Club has welcomed Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo to the Misool Park Stadium in Riyadh with a grand ceremony.
A few days ago, Ronaldo, who left Manchester United and joined Nasser, was given a grand welcome by the club. Thousands of Saudi Arabian football fans came there to welcome Ronaldo to the stadium on Tuesday evening.
Before reaching the stadium, Ronaldo participated in a press conference in the capital of Saudi Arabia along with Musalli Almuammar, the president of Nasr Club, and the team’s head coach, Frenchman Rudy Garcia.
Speaking at the press conference, Ronaldo said, ‘I am proud to make this big decision’.Ronaldo expressed his gratitude to Nasser for giving him this opportunity and said that his family was very happy with the decision to join the Saudi club.
He expressed his happiness that he and his family were given a warm welcome when they arrived in Saudi Arabia.”The people of Saudi Arabia are loving to me and my family, so I am really proud,” Ronaldo said excitedly.
He arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday morning, three days after formalizing the deal with Nasser, along with his Georgina Rodriguez and their children.
Ronaldo signed a contract with Nasr until June 2025. He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Nasser for an annual salary of about $200 million.
