Two killed in Dholahiti, 18 arrested for investigation

Lalitpur: Two youths were killed in Lalitpur metropolitan city-26, Dholahiti last night.

Two persons lost their lives in a scuffle between two groups at around 9.00 pm last night, informed spokesperson of the District Police Range, Lalitpur and Superintendent of Police, Naresh Raj Subedi.

“The police were informed about the incident after the injured were taken to Patan Hospital at 11.00 pm. Some people rrested on the spot are being interrogated. The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained,” he said.

The deceased have been identified as Robas Rai, 28, of Dharan, currently residing in Dholahiti and Pujan Rai, 30, of Panchthar district and is residing in Khumaltar. The bodies have been kept at Patan and Sumeru hospitals, spokesperson Subedi shared.

Police had arrested 18 people in connection with the incident last night.
