Govt.’s activities should be taken positively: DPM Shrestha
Chitwan: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, has said the activities carried out by the government should be taken positively.
Talking to media persons here today, DPM Shrestha shared, “It was only ill-intension of taking the government’s activities negatively whatever it has done instead of taking them positively.” He mentioned that police carries out investigation on fake Bhutanese refugee and Lalita Niwas scams in an independent and fair manner. The government would reach the point as evidences suggest for fair and independent investigation, added the Home Minister.
Responding to queries raised by media persons regarding preparedness of disaster, he said activities related to disaster preparedness under were made more systematic and effective.
On a different note, DPM Shrestha further said the PM’s statement regarding India’s support in the context of the election of the Prime Minister has no reality, stating that the Prime Minister would make public his opinion in this matter.
