Ruling alliance meeting focuses on bills and vote of confidence

Kathmandu: A meeting of top leaders of the ruling coalition comprising 10 political parties concluded. At the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, on Saturday evening, the leaders discussed on the bills to be tabled at the federal parliament on Sunday, PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s press coordinator Surya Kiran Sharma informed.

The meeting also agreed to univocally present in the vote of confidence PM Dahal is facing in the parliament on Monday, Sharma further shared. Matters related to country’s contemporary political affairs and expansion of cabinet were also discussed in the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dahal, Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and NC Vice-President Purna Bahadur Khadka. Likewise, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kuamr Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairperson Upendra Yadav, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party leader Sharat Singh Bhandari, Janmat Party Chair CK Raut, Aam Janata Party Chair Prabhu Saha, Nagarik Unmukti Party Chair Ranjeeta Shrestha and Nepal Samajwadi Party Chair Baburam Bhattarai, among others also attended the meeting. The meeting of ruling alliance took place to dwell on the contemporary political affairs of the country following the elections to the posts of President and Vice-President.
