Province Chief calls for effective delivery from local governments
Gandaki: Province Chief of Gandaki Province Prithvi Man Gurung has said that we should be careful towards intolerant forces and those opposing the Constitution of Nepal.
Addressing a programme organised in Pokhara on the occasion of 7th establishment day of Pokhara Metropolitan City on Sunday, the Province Chief said that a section of people are voicing for the change of the constitution claiming that the political parties and people’s representatives failed to deliver as expected.
“We took oath by being honest to the constitution. We have committed to spare anything in defence of the constitution. We all should be careful and aware of this issue,” he added.
He warned that sentiments against the existing system and constitution will further deepen if we failed to win people’s trust. The Province Chief asked the local governments to bring the development plans to fully utilise their means and resources.
