Movie theatre re-opens in Birat Chowk
Sundarharaincha: The Sukuna Movie Theatre in Birat Chowk has come back to operation after being shut down for a long time.
The cinema hall has come into operation under the name Birat Cine. Proprietor of the hall and film producer Chiranjeevi Basnet shared that the theatre opened on Friday with the screening of Chhakka Panja-4.
More than four million rupees have been invested to bring back the hall into operation with modern facilities. The hall has a capacity of 130 seats. It has begun with one screen and will have the second screen in operation soon, Basnet said.
On the occasion, President of Ward No. 9, Prakash Shrestha, said that there was a need for a cinema hall in the Sundarharaincha municipality, which has been addressed by Birat Cine.
