Industrial gram to be established at Tatopani rural municipality-4
Jumla: An industrial gram is going to be established at Tatopani rural municipality-4 of Jumla district.
Chairperson of Tatipani rural municipality, Nanda Prasad Chaulagain, said the industrial gram is to be established with the objective of providing employment to youths and making them self-dependent.
The industrial gram would help create employment, livelihood and poverty alleviation by utilizing local resources. The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies had on August 26, 2022 issued a public notice for the establishment of industrial gram.
Chairperson of Tatopani rural municipality-4, Amar Rokaya, shared that the rural municipal executive selected ward no 4 and recommended at the Ministry for the establishment of industrial gram. A cabinet meeting held on February 16 took the decision to establish the industrial gram on public land located at Ratekhola of ward no 4.
Chair Rokaya opined that the industrial gram would help create employment for locals by mobilizing local resources, raw materials and skill. The federal government has set a target to bring an industrial gram into operation in every local-level.
