Run business in fair manner: Chair Oli

Biratnagar: CPN (UML) Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said industrialists and entrepreneurs should run business in a fair manner.

Chairman Oli said it while inaugurating the CNI Koshi Expo-2079 here Thursday. He shared that the common minimum programme brought by the government would resolve the problems of industrialists and entrepreneurs. Saying it was not right to commit suicide being depressed in an adverse time, Chairman Oli mentioned that one should be able to tackle the problems.

The UML Chairman assured that the government would provide support for the development of industries. He reminded that the industry, trade and business had started from Biratnagar city in the country.
He suggested the government to take a concrete step to resolve the problems of industrialists and entrepreneurs. The Chairman however stated that there is improvement in country’s economy since last one month.

The UML Chairman urged the private sector to establish industry in order to produce medicine by identifying diversities in the lowland of Nepal, Kechanakawal, and the highland which is also the abode of world’s highest peak, Sagarmatha. He also requested the industrialists and entrepreneurs to present their problems in points, mentioning that he would take initiative to resolve their problems.

On the occasion, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, said the federal government was ready to promote and facilitate the industry. Chief Minister of Province-1, Hikmat Kumar Karki, expressed commitment that the government would carry out works in favour of industry and entrepreneurs.

Mayor of Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Nagesh Koirala, said the expo would help establish friendly relations between consumers and producers. The event will run till February 18. There are 400 stalls of Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan in the expo.
