Maoist Centre’s SC meet holds discussions on contemporary issues

Kathmandu: The standing committee (SC) meeting of the ruling CPN (Maoist Centre) held at party headquarters on Thursday discussed the issues of party unification, organization strengthening and other contemporary political issues.

During the meeting, party Chairperson and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ tabled a brief written report on contemporary issues, party vice-chair Krishna Bahadur Mahara said. Chairperson Prachanda also briefed the party leaders about the party’s position in the post-election, formation of current ruling alliance, government’s performance and others.

Similarly, the meeting wished for recovery of party assistant general secretary Barsha Man Pun and dwelt on providing relief to the families of the dead in Pokhara plane crash. The next meeting is scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday morning. Mahara stated that the meeting on Friday shall discuss about the presidential election too.
