Kathmandu: A meeting of the ruling coalition parties is being held to finalize various issues including expansion of the Council of Ministers.
The meeting of the ruling parties has been scheduled to be held at 3:00 pm today at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
The expansion of the Council of Ministers, the election of the Speaker, and the effectiveness of the current government, among others are said to be discussed in the meeting.
On Wednesday evening, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli had a meeting to discuss contemporary political issues.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Secretariat has said that the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers is also scheduled to be held today. The Cabinet meeting will be held at 11:00 am at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar.
