The first open Nepal-India T20 cricket tournament will be held today

Kathmandu: The First Open Nepal-Indo T20 Cricket Tournament is taking place from today.

Organised by the Panchakoti Youth Club, The tournament aims to maintain harmony among the residents at the border between Nepal and India, develop cricket and enhance efficiency of the local players, said the Club’s President Uttam Chand.

The venue for the match is the Buddabaje ground at Ratamata of Dasharath Chand Municipality-10.

Men’s cricket teams from Nepal and India will participate, he said.

Winner will receive Rs 40,000 in cash, trophy and certificates, and first runner-up Rs 20,000, trophy and certificates. Similarly, man of the series will get Rs 3,000, best batsman and best bowler Rs 1,500 each, best wicket-keeper Rs 1,111, and best fielder Rs 777.
