PM’s commitment: Citizenship to all Nepalese within 6 months, National ID card within a year

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed his willingness to grant citizenship to Nepali citizens who have not received citizenship within 6 months.

Presenting the vote of confidence proposal in the meeting of the second day of the representative assembly, the Prime Minister expressed the hope that citizenship will be distributed within 6 months and national identity card within 1 year.

Pointing out that the country is currently in some kind of crisis anyway, Prachanda said that there is a national need to resolve the crisis. Prachanda said that the country is currently in an economic crisis and political cooperation is also necessary to solve this crisis.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the cooperation of all political parties is necessary to change the situation of the country and the people.

Presenting a motion for a vote of confidence on the second day of the House of Representatives, Prachanda said that he was in favor of the politics of cooperation rather than prohibition and humiliation.

He said that in order to become a government that the people can feel, everyone’s support is necessary. “I urge you to give a vote of confidence in order to advance politics in consensus, cooperation and mutual trust, not prohibition,” said Prachanda.
