PM Prachanda met the father of Nirakar Pandey who died in Cambodian Casino Fire
Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has met the father of Nirakar Pandey of Jhapa, who died in a fire at a casino in Cambodia. Prime Minister Prachanda met Nirakar’s father, Agni Pandey of Jhapa. Pandey’s son Nirakar died last Thursday night in a fire at the Grand Diamond City Casino in Cambodia.
The Prime Minister called and met Agni at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Wednesday morning.
In the meeting with the Prime Minister, Agni said that he was shocked by the unexpected death of his son and expressed his gratitude for the concern and responsibility shown by the government. Prime Minister Prachanda expressed his grief over the death of the deceased and expressed his condolences to the family.
Prime Minister Dahal’s press coordinator Suryakiran Sharma informed that the Prime Minister expressed his commitment to bring the dead body home and to support the family on behalf of the government.
Deputy Prime Minister Vishnu Paudel, Narayankaji Shrestha, Ravi Lamichhane and Chief Secretary Shankardas Vairagi also met Pandey. Prime Minister Prachanda has already instructed through the Chief Secretary to proceed with the process of bringing the dead body to the country.
