English New Year 2023 being celebrated throughout world
Kathmandu: According to the Gregorian calendar, the new year 2023 AD has started from today.
People around the world are celebrating New year 2023 today by attending parties, eating special New Year’s foods, making resolutions for the new year and watching fireworks displays and many more.
It is just like a festival. It brings happiness on the faces of million of people. Even though this English New year is not in official practice in Nepal, it is used by foreigners who visit.
Since few years, Nepalese also started celebrating English New Year. And now Nepalese are also celebrating this English New Year in various parts of a country however in Nepal, the New Year is also known as Nepal Sambat. It comes at the beginning of every lunar month which is called Navavarsha.
The new year is being celebrated today by organizing various events around the world, so as in Nepal.
