President’s greeting on 138th Falgunanda Jayanti

Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended best wishes to all Nepali sisters and brothers on the occasion of the 138th birth anniversary of Falgunanda.
Mahaguru Falgunanda Lingden is the revered spiritual leader of Kirant community.
“May the Falgunanda Jayanti inspire all to devote to the campaign of harmony, tolerance, non-violence and social reform,” she wished, reminding that Falgunanda was not only a religious leader but also a social campaigner to wipe out social ills.
Falgunanda’s teachings are inspirational. He is the national luminary.
The birth anniversary is observed by organizing various programmes in the Province-1 districts as Panchthar, Taplejung, Tehrathum, Ilam and Jhapa.
