Darchula incident: Home Ministry writes to Foreign Ministry for necessary coordination

Kathmandu: The Home Ministry has written to the Foreign Ministry for necessary coordination and initiatives for proper relief and compensation to the victim’s family over the incident that a 10-year-old boy from Darchula, Pawan Mahara, was killed as a stone hurled from explosion at Dharchula of India.

The stone hurled from the explosion made in Indian side hit the boy at Thihi of Byas Rural Municipality-2 of Darchula in Nepali side. The incident occurred on Friday.

Mahara is from Dumling village of the same rural municipality. The Home Ministry further said it was doing investigation on the incident.
