781 new cases confirmed in last 24 hours with two deaths in Nepal

Kathmandu : Altogether 781 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the last 24 hours across the country.

It came to light through RT-PCR and Antigen tests performed on 4,712 people during the period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

With this, total number of infections has reached 992,565 in Nepal.

During the period, another 511 people have recovered from the contagion. Total number of those freeing from the infection has reached 974,806.

The recovery rate is 98.2 percent, according to the ministry. Currently, number of active case of COVID-19 is 5,775.
Meanwhile, two more have died on COVID-19, taking the death toll to 11,984. Also today, 23,801 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. -RSS
