868 new cases of Covid-19 with three deaths found in Nepal

Kathmandu : The country has recorded 868 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new number of coronavirus cases was detected in 6,705 sample tests.

With this, the number of active cases of coronavirus has reached 5,885. Among them, 5,571 are in home isolation, 214 in institutional isolation, 64 are undergoing treatment in ICU and seven with the support of ventilator.

Coronavirus has been confirmed on 229 people in Kathmandu district in the last 24 hours. According to Joint-Spokesperson at the Ministry, Samir Kumar Adhikari, Lalitpur recorded 53 cases of coronavirus and 18 cases of coronavirus has been confirmed in Bhaktapur during the same period.

Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Morang districts have more than 200 active cases of coronavirus.

Meanwhile, a total of 171,837 people received vaccine against coronavirus today. -RSS
