COVID-19 increased rapidly, 1,090 new cases with 2 deaths in Nepal

Kathmandu : The country has recorded more than 1,000 cases of coronavirus in last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,090 cases of coronavirus were detected in course of conducting 6,300 tests.

With this, the number of active cases of coronavirus has reached 5,806. Among them, 5,593 infected are in home isolation, 213 in institutional isolation, 61 are undergoing treatment in ICU and seven with the support of ventilator.
During the same period, 438 people recovered from the virus.

Likewise, two more persons succumbed to coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the country. A total of 11,974 coronavirus related deaths have been reported in the country so far.

Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Morang districts have more than 200 active cases of coronavirus. A total of 171,837 people received vaccine against coronavirus in the last 24 hours. –RSS
